User Data Deletion Request

RealMaster Technology Inc. respects your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page describes how to request deletion of your account and associated personal data from any of our apps and services, in compliance with Google Play, Apple App Store, and applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1 — Delete via the App (Recommended)

In the RealMaster or RealMaster Discover app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately begin the deletion process for your profile, saved searches, and associated data.

Option 2 — Email Request

Send a deletion request to privacy@realmaster.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • The service(s) you wish to have your data deleted from (RealMaster, Report.Rentals, RealMaster Discover, or all)

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Report.Rentals Users

Report.Rentals users (landlords and tenants) can also email support@report.rentals directly. Note: rent payment records already reported to Equifax Canada are subject to Equifax's own data retention policies. We will request removal on your behalf but cannot guarantee removal of data already integrated into your Equifax credit file.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request we will remove:

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone, profile photo)
  • Saved searches, favourite listings, and browsing history within our platform
  • Showing and open-house records associated with your account
  • Lease and payment records within Report.Rentals (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Any other personal data you provided to us directly

Data We May Retain

We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business need, including:

  • Transaction records required for accounting or regulatory compliance (up to 7 years under Canadian tax law)
  • Information needed to resolve outstanding disputes or enforce our Terms
  • Aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Data already furnished to Equifax Canada under the Report.Rentals service agreement

Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days. If additional time is required (e.g., due to legal holds), we will notify you before the 30-day deadline.
