Report.Rentals is an authorized Equifax Canada data furnisher. On the 15th of every month, it reports rent payment data directly to Equifax Canada, creating a tradeline on the tenant's credit file — the same file checked by TD Bank, RBC, and Scotiabank for mortgage approvals.

With consistent on-time rent payments, newcomers to Canada and tenants without prior credit history may reach a credit score of about 700 points within a few reporting cycles — roughly 90 days. Individual results vary depending on prior credit history.

It is free for tenants — the landlord covers the reporting cost. Landlords can start on the Free plan with up to 3 leases and no credit card required. The Investor plan is $19.99/month CAD and includes up to 20 leases and 20 Equifax credit reports.
